It’s Wednesday, so here’s another blog post about this week’s progress!
This week has been busy; we started working on the new space station system and a new lore feature. It’ll look a lot like the old one, but with a couple quality of life improvements. We finally finished the lander system, with a new look to fit the new rocket models! We also improved a few existing features.
Like we already said in a previous blog post, Stellaris 2.0 will focus on lore. The only dimension available at launch will be the Moon, but other planets will come right after. We are currently building the Moon structures, but also some exclusive lore features. Each dimension in the mod will have its own theme. You’ll have a lot of exploration to do to discover every hidden mechanic needed to progress in the story. We can’t wait to show you that!
We recruited one new artist this week. He will help us create the new mobs and bosses for Stellaris 2.0. You can expect some progress on that soon. If you want to join our team, our recruitment form is still open. A private alpha version will be tested internally soon; we are still looking for a few extra beta testers!
We updated the roadmap, it may seem that we’ve rolled back or added new planned features, but we just added some missing entries that have been forgotten. The progress is constant, and we are getting closer to our vision for the mod.
