Stellaris progress (8 April 2026)

We announced Stellaris 2.0 last week. Now, it’s time to tell you what we are working on and what needs to be done before the alpha release.

Since we want to include our community into the alpha testing, we plan to release an alpha version on CurseForge and Modrinth once the basic content is done. This release will be for testing only and is not meant to be used in survival or multiplayer. For now, our goal is to focus on good quality content, but we need help to find every bug and compatibility issues.

Here is the current roadmap, it will evolve as we add new content to the mod. For now, don’t forget that we only focus on bringing the Moon to the mod in this first 2.x release. Other planets will come after.

This week, a big focus was put on biomes and custom blocks. We added every block that we need for our structures so our builder team can start working on implementing our old structures and start creating the new ones. We currently have 5 unique biomes for the moon, we are still working on adding more details to them.
